As an additional layer used in the building materials industry, it mainly solves the problem of easier film-forming and shaping of coatings, and significantly improves the tensile strength, adhesion, compressive strength, aging resistance, etc. of coatings after film-forming.
Homogeneous products: fiberglass mesh fabric, sewn polyester fabric, non-woven polypropylene fabric, etc.
Compared with homogeneous products, fiberglass mesh fabric has low density, poor tensile strength, difficulty in shaping, low price, and poor coating performance. Sewn polyester fabric has high density, uneven longitudinal and transverse tensile properties, poor permeability, unsmooth surface, high coating material consumption, softness and difficulty in shaping, and is moderately priced. Non woven polypropylene fabric is generally impermeable, has high hardness, and is not easy to shape. Plastic fiber cloth has uniform density, ultra-thin matrix, strong permeability, saves coating consumption, and its tensile and crack resistance performance is several times higher than the former. It is soft but easy to shape, and has strong workability.
What are the advantages of plastic fiber cloth compared to polyester fabric
1. Polyester fabric is relatively thick and requires at least 1.5-2 kilograms of paint per square meter to cover it. Plastic fiber cloth is ultra-thin and requires 1-1.5 kilograms of paint per square meter to cover it, saving 0.5 kilograms of material cost per square meter. Calculated at 10 yuan/kg, 0.5 kilograms x 10 yuan=5 yuan, saving 5 yuan per square meter of paint.
2. Polyester fabric has a large thickness, high density, and is not easy to penetrate. During the construction process, it needs to be repeatedly rolled several times to increase the construction process and increase labor costs. The cost of manual rolling is at least 1 yuan/square meter.
3. In construction application, the comprehensive cost of plastic fiber cloth is much lower than that of polyester fabric!
4. Polyester fabric is thick and absorbent, not easy to penetrate, and the material is soft and unshaped. It is very easy to deform and wrinkle during repeated rolling processes, leading to rework and repair, or the possibility of forming empty drums and gaps with overlapping edges, which poses after-sales risks. Plastic fiber cloth is ultra-thin and not water absorbing, and the coating is easy to penetrate without repeated rolling. The coating is evenly filled and not easy to appear empty drums. Plastic fiber cloth is soft and shaped, and is not easy to wrinkle and curl edges, forming hidden dangers of overlapping edge gaps,
5. The surface of polyester fabric has fine hairs that are not smooth, and it cannot be covered by rolling coating once. Rolling coating at least twice or more is a waste of coating and time-consuming. Plastic fiber cloth is ultra-thin and smooth, and can form coverage in just one pass, saving coating and labor
6. The longitudinal and transverse tensile forces of polyester fabric are uneven, making it prone to deformation during later use and causing secondary damage to the coating layer. The longitudinal and transverse tensile forces of plastic fiber cloth are uniform, reducing damage during later use of the coating
7. The tensile resistance of plastic fiber cloth is several times that of polyester fabric, and it has obvious advantages in the service life of coatings
